What your new job looks like
You will be responsible for defining the digital rules that govern automated decisions, identifying growth opportunities in market segments, and ensuring that our pricing remains competitive.
The role will involve;
- Driving portfolio analytics to uncover growth opportunities, optimise strike rates, retention, and identify strengths and weaknesses
- Shaping pricing and product strategies, including dynamic pricing, cover optimisation, and excess/sub‑limit frameworks
- Leading digital transformation initiatives to streamline underwriting, enhance automation, and refine referral rules, question sets, and workflow efficiency
- Championing data innovation by developing data‑driven question frameworks, confidence scoring, and predictive insights
- Partnering with Marketing, Sales, and Actuarial to build feedback loops that inform product development, cross‑sell strategies, and targeted growth initiatives.
- Defining and delivering next‑generation reporting, dashboards, KPIs/OKRs, and governance structures to track the impact of pricing, product, and automation enhancements.
We'd love to meet you
Especially if you can talk to us about your:

5-7+ years' experience in General Insurance including extensive experience in underwriting, portfolio or product management

Advanced Data Literacy showcasing proficiency in slicing and dicing large datasets (Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau)

Proven track record in developing pricing strategies that balance growth with loss ratio stability

Experience working with automated underwriting engines or rules-based digital platforms

Commercial Acumen with ability to translate complex data into clear sales initiatives for Underwriting/Distribution teams
Desirable

Product Knowledge - familiarity with strata (or at least property) insurance product lines

Understanding of API-driven environments and/or property data ecosystems

Proven track record in leading change and transformation initiatives
