Desired Skills and Experience
What your new job looks like
Day to day you will be managing a portfolio of work, using your technical skills and expertise to collaborate with specialists and drive a timely outcome and settlement.
Active involvement in developing and implementing assessing processes that drive an outstanding CHU customer experience
Completion of onsite strata assessments, confirming extent, cause and nature of losses
Collation of information and evidence to make determinations (including indemnity and recovery)
Formulation of scope of works as appropriate
Settlement and completion of files in accordance with internal protocols
Compilation of reporting and maintenance of records
Policy interpretation and provision of recommendations

Especially if you can talk to us about your:
Essential
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent knowledge
Minimum of 3 years of property claims handling experience / 3 years Loss Adjusting
Experience with commercial and catastrophe claims
Research and investigative abilities; negotiating, conflict resolution and persuasive abilities
Superior verbal and written communication skills, including large-group presentation skills
A full driver’s licence and ability to be mobile with travel
Desirable
ACILA Diploma in Loss Adjusting or qualifications attained through ANZIIF
Thorough knowledge of commercial and residential construction industries
Knowledge of property claims law and jurisdictional issues
